The Winston-Salem Stewardship Council is proud to be an active participating community of the Black Wall Street Forward initiative. As a part of this initiative, our group has collectively designed a project to share the rich history of the Black Wall Street Experience in Winston-Salem, and amplify Black businesses and local initiatives that aim to accelerate Black economic mobility in our city. The digital hub will explore the history, present, and future landscape of the Black Wall Street Experience of Winston Salem, NC.

Executive Director | Action4Equity

Kellie is a fierce innovator in developing systems change structures and cultural organizing that centers the strength and pride for the liberation of the Black community. Since 2018, Kellie has been leading A4E's movement to reimagine the racial justice ecosystem of Winston-Salem.

CALVIN PATTERSON

President | WS Black Chamber Commerce

Calvin currently serves as President of the Winston Salem Black Chamber of Commerce. His mission is to share knowledge that is relevant to helping individuals and organizations be more effective in turning their vision into reality. Helping people is what excites and drives Calvin.

KENNETH PETTIGREW

Executive Director | Winston Lake YMCA Family & Reach Center

Kenneth A. Pettigrew, a native of Winston-Salem, is the Executive Director of the Winston Lake Family YMCA. He served as the Coordinator of Faith-Based Community Engagement at the United Way of Forsyth County before a four-year tenure as the Chief Operating Officer of the Winston-Salem Urban League.
